How to Create and Launch a Punch Card

Setting up a punch card is the fastest way to get customers coming back. You can only have one active punch card at a time, so make sure your reward and rules are dialed in before you save.

Here is how to build and launch your card in a few minutes.

Navigating to the Punch Card Builder

1. Log into your Loyalty Draw account and ensure you are on the Business page.
2. Click the large yellow Subscriptions button on your dashboard.
3. Locate the specific business location you want to build a card for and click Manage. (Note: This is the only way to access your subscription data).
4. You will land on the Usage tab. Click the Cards tab in the top menu.
5. Click the yellow Create Punch Card button to open the Wizard.

Using the Punch Card Wizard As you scroll through the form, a live preview of your punch card will float alongside you. Pro-tip: Click the card preview at any time to physically "flip" it around and see what the back looks like to your customers.

Fill out the following fields to configure your card:

• Freebie Name: Type exactly what the customer earns when the card is full (e.g., "Free Coffee! Any size!").

• Punches Required: Enter the total number of stamps needed to unlock the freebie (e.g., 7, 10, 12, etc.).

• Activation Date: Your card will automatically activate today (or immediately after your current card expires).

• Expiration Date: Set the end date for this specific promotion. It defaults to exactly one month from today. Important: This date is final and cannot be modified later.

• Punch Card Rule: Choose the action required to earn a single punch. You can select either:
  • Based on total amount spent
  • Based on buying a specific item

• Qualifying Purchase: Depending on your rule above, enter the minimum dollar amount (e.g., $5) or the specific item the customer must buy.

• Visuals (Image & Emoji): Upload a clear photo of the reward so customers know what they are working toward, and select the specific emoji you want to use as the "stamp" for each punch.

Saving and Launching Once your details are locked in and the preview looks good, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Your new punch card will immediately go live and appear in your Active shelf under the Cards tab. (Note: To view customer usage data later, just click the three vertical dots on the active card).
